Is there privacy in the studio for classes?

Yes! We will have a full length curtain that partitions off the studio from the reception area and will ensure privacy during classes. During most classes, the front doors will also be locked.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes! We do offer private lessons. The vast majority of our instructors offer private lessons. If you have a preferred instructor, please let us know or your instructor know. If you do not have an instructor in mind, we can work with you to understand your specific goals and pair you with the most appropriate instructor (some of our instructors specialize in certain areas).

We use Allegro 2 reformers from Balanced Body, known for their exceptional quality and versatility, to provide a superior Pilates experience. These reformers are designed to support smooth, effective movement, ensuring comfort and results for all levels.

As a veteran-owned, women-owned, and locally owned small business, we offer a boutique experience tailored to your unique needs. Unlike chains, we prioritize personalized care, creating classes that fit you while supporting the local community. We also offer simple, transparent pricing and membership packages on a month to month basis allowing clients ultimate flexibility.

What should I bring with me to class?

Recommended: Grip Socks! Our Pilates studio recommends grip socks to ensure safety, enhance stability during exercises, and maintain a clean and hygienic environment for all participants. If you do not have a pair, or forget yours, we do have grip socks available for purchase at the front desk.

Recommended: Water bottle.

What if I need to cancel my membership?

We understand that life changes — and we try to keep things simple.

To cancel your membership, we ask for:

15 days’ advance notice prior to your next billing cycle
Written notice sent to wakepilates@gmail.com

This gives us time to process your request.

What if I am completely new to Pilates?

Wake Pilates is for everyone! Whether you're new to Pilates, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, we encourage you to take our free 30-minute introductory class. It’s a great way to get acclimated to our specific reformer machines, learn about our studio, and explore Pilates if it’s your first time. However, the 30-minute introductory class is not mandatory, and each Pilates class at our studio is built to be tailored for whatever level you are coming in at. While we will briefly touch on Mat Pilates during the introductory class, it is more tailored towards learning more about our Balanced Body Reformer machines. These are not on our schedule yet, but we hope to have them soon. For now, we encourage you to try a full, 50-minute class with us for an intro offer of $10.

What's the cancellation policy for classes?

Right now we have no cancellation policy! We want to ensure maximum flexibility for members. As much as we want you in every class, life is crazy! See you in class soon.

Is there an age requirement for the classes?

All regularly scheduled classes at Wake Pilates are for ages 18 and up. However, we offer teen-specific classes throughout the summer designed just for younger clients! Keep an eye on our schedule and social media for upcoming teen class times. 💫

How do I book my class?

Whether you purchased a drop in class or a membership, you can book your class through the "Fit by Wix" app. Here are the steps:

- Download the "Fit by Wix" app on the Google Play or Apple App store
- Sign up using the same email address you used to purchase your membership or drop in class
- Enter our studio code "4SCGGZ" 
- Book your classes!!
